The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is a special sacrament of strength and healing. The reception of the sacrament can be received by appointment, especially if someone is preparing for surgery or dealing with any type of spiritual, emotional or physical suffering.  Jesus offers us this sacrament to strengthen us in taking up our daily crosses.  May we realize that we are never alone.
