A lector or reader is assigned to read in a particular liturgy – a Biblical text other than the Gospel. (Reading the Gospel at Mass is reserved specifically to the deacon or, a priest in there absence.) . In our parish, this office of readers, is administered and rostered through the Parish office. If you would like to participate in this ministry as a reader at the weekend Masses.
