The liturgical life of the Church revolves around the Eucharistic sacrifice and the sacraments. There are seven sacraments. These are: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Marriage, Holy Orders and Anointing of the Sick . The first three of these sacraments mentioned are called sacraments of initiation. During their early primary schooling. Children will partake in the sacraments of  Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation, which together makes them full members of the Church. These sacraments are therefore very important and are celebrated in the context of the parish.

Every year parents are invited to join and help prepare their children for these celebrations. Notifications of dates and activities are co-coordinated through our Primary Schools and through the State School Catechist program. We invite you to be involved and take up an active role in the nurturing of your Child’s journey in the life of faith.
